Day 6 Orewa, New Zealand

We are still in Orewa but this should be our last night.  We have everything cleaned and arranged to our liking.  It’s time to be tourists.  We got a short taste of it this afternoon as we hiked along the shores of Red Beach.  Red Beach is where the Orewa Rivers flows into Whangaparaoa Bay and the town of Orewa is situated.
Orewa, is in the North Island and lies on the Hibiscus Coast, 40 kilometres north of Auckland, and close to the base of the Whangaparaoa Peninsula. It is one of the more popular and most expensive places to live in New Zealand.
Tomorrow we head north.
